I can’t say enough how proud I am of CNBLUE and their newest producer Jung Yonghwa and this being the 7th album released by the band that is self written and composed. How awesome are they to have done so much work in music creation in such a short time and be able to publish their OWN music for their fans to enjoy?! I say they are truly AWESOME and are only getting better with age and time. I’m so excited for this and every album these guys put out and I’m so eager to get the three versions I’ve ordered heheh… Despite what some so called fans of the band or more specifically, SOME Burning Souls aka Lee Jonghyun fans may say or feel about it,
I really would like to speak my mind now about this topic because it just keeps coming back up like a fucking cancer! I am super proud and thankful for Yonghwa‘s contributions to the band as I am for Jonghyun because in my eyes, whatever one member does, reflects on the WHOLE band. I just cannot get my brain around the fact that there are people who cannot deal with how CNBLUE is dealing with their career and their music production because THEY feel that Jonghyun isn’t getting a “fair chance” to release his music, that Jonhyun doesn’t get enough singing parts, and that Yonghwa is always “stealing” the limelight from him and keeping him down or whatever the fuck they are saying…blah blah blah!
I am not taking sides because as I may be Yonghwa biased, I LOVE ALL THE MEMBERS OF CNBLUE and consider myself BOICE. The only way anyone can claim to be BOICE is if they admire and respect all the members of the band, regardless of their bias. Its one thing if you have a bias because we all have a favorite or two in any band or group but If you only like, stan,, or follow just one member and do not feel the same for the rest of the band or hate or bash any other member, you are not BOICE and cannot call yourself BOICE, that’s it, period! I have stated countless times that I love all of CNBLUE so statements like the aforementioned really fucking piss me off! How can people think such things about the leader of the band? Jung Yonghwa IS THE LEADER, LEAD VOCALIST, AND AS ALWAYS BEEN MAIN CONTRIBUTOR to the band in terms of music from the very first album CNBLUE has released, just check out the credits if you don’t believe me.
I, by no means am trying to minimize Jonghyun‘s place or contributions because I feel he is ALSO a huge asset to the band, but I think people fail to realize that he is the band’s lead guitarist! There’s nothing written in stone that he has to ONLY play guitar because its very obvious that he does more than just that. The argument of Jonghyun not getting to release his songs or that he doesn’t get enough attention would be the same as Minhyuk or Jungshin fans saying that they are upset that they aren’t getting enough attention or questioning why they don’t produce music. No, you don’t see MH or JS fans saying demeaning and downright evil shit about Yonghwa because he’s the leader and they can’t stand that!
Have you ever thought about perhaps the members are OK with how things have been dealt with so far? Perhaps Yonghwa just has more music completed than Jonghyun has? Have you ever thought that perhaps Jonghyun doesn’t WANT his songs released yet because he feels they would fit better on an upcoming album? WE AS FANS DON’T KNOW WHAT GOES ON BETWEEN THEM & THEIR MANAGMENT BEHIND CLOSED DOORS and I hate it when people speculate or make it seem like YH gets special treatment! If anything, I feel Yonghwa has the biggest burden of all, bias aside. He’s the leader of course, but as the leader he’s put in the position to have to be the entertainer even if he just wants to hang back and not smile at all, he’s the main one who represents the group, let’s face it, Yonghwa is the fan service King, every knows it, even non BOICE notice that shit! He takes care of the rest of the band in many ways too! Do people even see that shit? They all take care of each other which is how it should be! They aren’t bitter or seem to have any resentments towards each other so why do we pit them against each other the way we do? Its not our place to question what music they release or how often they release it.
Therefore, I think we as fans should just sit back and enjoy the ride CNBLUE want to take us on and just fucking support them, no matter who’s name is featured on the credits. CNBLUE MUSIC is JUST MUSIC to me. I LOVE IT ALL!!!

agree with you, Mari. I don’t understand why some people can’t treat them as a “normal” band. No one will blame a band leader who contributes much to the band.
Thank you for voicing out what many of us think and feel. It’s really annoying to read those nasty comments when we know that the members all get along so well and they respect each other as well as respect and appreciate Yong Hwa as a leader. JH even mentioned it in his recent interview in Ceci, so I really hope his fans follow his lead and just support the band as a whole.
Thank you and you’re welcome^^ I really hope that fans do realize that they are the ones who cause strife and chaos where there is non. Yonghwa and Jonghyun have a synergy that works for them. Regardless of who the song credits go to, they are CNBLUE and its CNBLUE’s music that we love not one or the other!

I just want to bold it and share it to anyone who claim they are BOICE. We can be anyone’s bias but don’t forget be objective. I mean, I am Jonghyun biased, but I can see clearly every effort that Yonghwa give to CNBLUE and I appreciate him.
Beside that, I do like Jonghyun because he is The Burning from CNBLUE. If he wasn’t, maybe I won’t love him in this way. In other words, I love CNBLUE more than him. I saw CNBLUE as a band who couldn’t be this perfect without Yonghwa, Jonghyun, Minhyuk, and Jungshin all together in it. Let’s be their cool fans, which only support and appreciate their work. And anything beyond that, respect all their decisions and believe it must be the best for them. 🙂

I wish they will release a new rock song like Come on or Get Away, but honestly, when I listened to Truth, I was totally amazed by the sound and melody. Another great song!! I can’t explain how, but as usual, they put uncommon thing that make this song totally catching!
So, I like Truth, but after listening Still… I think Still is even better. Really, really, really better!! One of their best songs for me haha :p. I wish I could hear it in live soon… That’s gonna be a great single! I want it ;;!!

well i guess i am a bit jonghyun biased and as much as i love to listen to him sing i know that jh won’t be who he is now if not for cnblue. and there was this one interview where he introduced himself as a guitarist who loves to sing. so i guess we burning souls need to respect that, and imo he is loving every work he has done with his bandmates, and yonghwa himself said that they always discuss their music together, all four of them. so let’s just love them for what they are, okay guys?

I feel bad for Junghyun too having people like that as fans. I’m 18 years old and for a second to read that kind of comments i angry for Jonghyun and thinks as if he a narrow minded person until i realize it’s not him who post it. How if someone younger than me who read it? Maybe she/he turn to be an antis? poor Jonghyun …
Fully agree. To me, all CNBLUE members shine in their own different way. And they seems to get along very well; that’s what it matters.
MTE, they get along better than I’ve seen blood relatives get along let alone 4 guys who came from different backgrounds & upbringings. Their broship is what I love the most about them aside from their humility!
